We spent last weekend with some of our best friends (and family) in a little town called Fredonia, Kansas. We had about a 4 1/2 hour drive, so we set out on Friday morning about 10:30. We made a stop in Collins, MO for lunch and then drove the rest of the way. Cooper is a great traveler and the trip was pretty easy. We got there around 4 and the fun began. I'll just tell you now that this is going to be mostly pictures...and sadly, it's mostly pictures of the littles. I know at least one group shot was taken, but it's on someone else's camera.
Playing in the pool
Riding the carousel:
Walking around the zoo: (and its an actual zoo in the town of Independence, KS. There was a bear, swans, monkeys, weird raccoon kind of things, peacock, bald eagle, etc. Of course I didn't take pictures of many animals though)
Bubbles (poolside, of course):
Car rides (and please note that the littles did not love sharing the car. Kaylen was a great driver though and gave equal laps around the living room)
We loved our time with such precious friends and look forward to this reunion every year. We had plenty of good food to eat, time to hangout, and enjoyed playing games once the littles were in bed. Thanks Jim & Charlene for hosting! We had so much fun!
Sidenote: it was so nice to have a shorter car ride too!
